In early September we took a week-long vacation to the coast, staying at the usual Gearhart house. It was the longest we'd spent there, and it was really nice to unwind and relax, even though the weather was a bit foggy our first day there. (although I think you really have to work at it to have a bad day at the Oregon coast!)
Petra renewed her love for sand, although this time she kept saying "We don't eat the sand." (not sure if that came from something we said or her daycare teacher?)
The second day was a bit sunnier, and we made it out to watch a gorgeous sunset.
Petra just loved to run at the beach - she just ran circles around us, literally.
It was nice to warm up by a fire afterwards...
