We took out the venerable old bassinet on loan to us from a friend (she and her six siblings had been raised in it!), and replaced it with an overstimulation-station called an Exersaucer.
We bought it for $10 on Craigslist, and the woman selling it wanted to make sure I understood it wasn't one of the newer, fancier ones that have all kinds of sounds and blinking things. I said, sounds perfect! She makes enough sounds of her own...
