This Easter, Petra discovered a love for jellybeans. Chocolate she was aware of, but somehow she'd never had a jellybean before. At first, she assumed it was a bead or toy that she wasn't supposed to eat. She held up a bean and said "this is NOT candy", and I said "actually, it is candy." Her eyes got huge.
And she had fun opening her gifts from Nana and Grandpa too.
Griffin came over for an Easter egg hunt. They hunted for eggs together, without being competitive about it. Every egg they found was instantly opened, spreading jellybeans and bunny goldfish all over the lawn. They still ate them, of course. They had a blast.
