Petra was down with a fever last week (a cold/flu thing). She didn't seem to feel that badly, but her fever was enough to keep her home from school. So, with an antsy, feverish toddler, it seemed like a good time to break out the art easel she'd gotten for Christmas (I will miss being able to spread out the toys like this!). She "helped" me put it together by making designs with the colored knobs and bolts and dumping out the art supplies.
The boxes were the saving grace, and kept her happy until I could put it together.

I love watching her get absorbed in projects like this (for a few minutes, anyway).
