The reason you're looking at her door is because one of her favorite games lately is to close herself in her room and play, and I have to admit I love to hang out on the other side and listen to her chattering to her toys. She can close the door but she can't open it, so she has to ask for help, which you can hear at the end. She went about 40 seconds that time. I imagine it will get longer in the future...?

Rain rain go away
We are in the midst of a very strange July -- cool and rainy. We planned to go for a bike ride on Sunday but it was pouring down rain, so we taught Petra a new song:
